| The prosecutor's office will look into a 'performance' by a female punk band in Christ the Saviour yesterday. That's after one Muscovite complained to the police about what he says is an act of blasphemy and hooliganism. The action staged by the girls from the Pussy Riothas beat combo provoked heated debates in the media. Though the Chrich's initial reaction was mild one of Moscow's top religious figures, Vsevolod Chaplin, said this wasn't the first time the Russian church had come under such an attack. However, he changed his mind today and suggested criminalising acts where religious views are being offended. | ||
